Dr. A.F. Pinto, a visionary and a pioneer in the field of education, took up the task of spreading awareness of literacy and providing the necessary infrastructure needed to realize this dream, from a scratch.

Right from his formative years, Dr. Pinto had this dream. A dream that would help him, in the cause of eradicates illiteracy. Since, Dr. Pinto did not belong to an influential & wealthy background; he just had his qualification and his will power to make this dream into a reality. But, that was not the inlay criteria needed for Dr. Pinto to achieve his goal. There were many things, which had to be taken care of and many technical details to be looked into. But that was not a hurdle, which would dampen or reduce Dr. Pinto's spirit and enthusiasm.

Initially, Dr. Pinto set up a temporary structure, a make shift school. He only had himself to teach students, to publicize, to promote and also at the same time encouraging and spreading the awareness of literacy. Thus, was started a revolution into the field of education. As the age old principle goes. 'Hard work = Success'. The school started getting tremendous response as days passed by. The school started growing, gradually. Just like saplings and newborn babies, have to be looked after and tended with proper care, in the same way, nursing this school with hard work and perspiration, Dr. Pinto started working towards the upliftment and the enhancement of the school. This was the first milestone that Dr. Pinto achieved, in the year 1986.
